The Children's Sleep Charity is once again partnering with the UK's biggest parenting community, Netmums to launch Sleep Week from the 23rd - 27th October. Our weeklong campaign will raise awareness and call for more action on children's sleep issues.

We will also be using this week to launch a very important and exciting campaign at Westminster on Tuesday 24th of October - more details to come soon, but stay tuned on social media!

The impact of sleep deprivation is still not taken seriously enough.  Evidence shows that it can affect all aspects of life from education, behaviour, memory to cognitive skills.  Sleep issues do not just affect the child, we also know that the entire family unit suffers, often struggling with work and life on a day-to-day basis.  Staff at the charity are  frequently told of relationship breakdown and feelings of isolation, mental health can also be affected, these families need a voice.

We would like to invite you to join us in highlighting the importance of these issues next week during ˜Sleep Week'  Follow us on Facebook and Twitter and using #sleepmatters please add your own stories, messages or photographs.

This is your chance to talk about children's sleep issues and the impact that it has on health and wellbeing.

We look forward to you joining us and working together to help those in crisis.
